One’s blood type is strongly related to one’s diet and health. If you follow the blood type diet for at least two weeks you may reduce the risk of developing certain diseases, slow down the process of aging, and prevent obesity, according to the blood type diet’s creators.
The foods that may help those with blood type A lose weight include soy products, fruits and vegetables with large amounts of vitamin C, and vegetable oils. On the other side, the foods that should be avoided include meat, dairy products, beans, and pasta in large amounts.
If you belong to blood group, your diet should be based on vegetables. Diary products are hard to digest for those with this blood type. You may find other sources of calcium, such as yogurt, kefir, soy milk, or soy cheese. Extra-virgin olive oil is very good for the cardiovascular system and contributes to lowering the levels of cholesterol.
Those with blood type A should consume mostly raw or boiled vegetables in order to maintain their vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Try to avoid tomatoes, potatoes, and cabbage. Fruits like oranges, bananas, mango, and coconuts must be avoided.
The recommended beverages for blood type A include green tea, red wine, and coffee. You should avoid beer, black tea, distilled alcoholic beverages, and sweet beverages.
Those with blood type A may start the day with a glass of water with lemon juice from half a lemon.
